Barolo

Often called the ‘King of Italian wines’, Barolo is made mostly with Nebbiolo grapes growing in the Piedmontese areas of Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga D’Alba, Cherasco, Diano D’Alba, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, Monforte D’Alba, Novello, Roddi and Verduno in the province of Cuneo. This wine undergoes serious analysis and judgement before it is put on the market in order to safeguard the very high reputation it has in Italy and abroad as one of the best wines produced by Italy. It is a very strong wine with a very deep red colour, with a bouquet of violets and roses. A full balanced velvety dry wine, it should be drunk on grand occasions.
