From the sunny and hilly area of Montalcino comes this highly regarded dessert wine made from the Moscato grape. This straw-yellow wine comes in two versions: the first a sweetish wine with only 10.5% alcohol content and a wonderful delicate but aromatic flavour. The second, called Liquoroso, is fortified to a strength of 19%. It is ideal as a dessert wine, with cantucci or other baked goods from the area.
