Nebbiolo d’Alba

The Nebbiolo grape gets its name from nebbia, the word for the fog covering the hills of Piedmont in Autumn. It grows on the hills of Alba and Langhe, in the provinces of Cuneo, famous for the white truffle. Although it is the father of such illustrious wines as Barolo, Barbaresco and Carema, it makes a fine wine in its own right.
