  • About

For centuries this ancient wine was regularly served at the table of the Popes. Made in the area of Orvieto, the Southern part of Umbria, from grapes like Trebbiano, Verdello, Grechetto and Malvasia, it can be dry (secco) or semi-sweet (abboccato), depending on the proportions of each grape used. Orvieto has a straw-yellow colour, a delicate taste and a pleasant bouquet. It can be served as an aperitif and goes very well with antipasto and light first courses.
