Shichimi

Seven spice powder, a popular condiment in Japan used on soups and stews amongst other dishes. It is made from chilli as well as some of the following ingredients: black or white sesame, hemp, poppy seed, pepper, mustard seed, dried citrus peel, green nori and dried shiso.
