Prepare and bake according to the recipe. Cool completely. Wrap securely or seal in a freezer bag; label and freeze. Thaw at room temperature or place on a paper plate and defrost in the microwave for about 8 minutes, until thawed and/or warm. Can be reheated in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 5 to 10 minutes, and thawed, sliced, and toasted.
When preparing food for freezer storage, make sure to remove all air from the wrap, container, or freezer bag to prevent freezer burn. Securely wrapped, food will better retain its original fresh flavor and texture when thawed.
