Also referred to as the Slicer throughout this book. The medium (4 mm) Slicing Disc produces approximately ⅛-inch slices and the thin (2 mm) Slicing Disc produces 1/16-inch slices. Cuisinart’s Elite processor comes with a versatile 6-in-1 Slicing Disc that can produce thin, medium or thick slices (1 to 6 mm) with a quick twist of a dial. One disc, 6 choices! Use the finger holes when handling the Slicing Disc. On models with nested bowls, the Slicing Disc can be used with the large or medium bowltips.
