  • About
The blossoms of scented roses have lent flavor and color to food and drink since ancient times. In Persia there was a rose petal wine; there is also rose petal jam and rose-flavored honey; and rose petals flavor many sweet and savory dishes. Any scented rose petals may be used in cookery, provided they are free of pesticides, but dried ones are intense in flavor and convenient to use. They are sold in Persian groceries and health food stores.
