Plump with full, round breasts and short, meaty legs. The skin color varies from creamy white to almost yellow, depending on the diet and breed of chicken. Skin should be soft and smooth with some flexibility. In younger birds, the breastbone is flexible, the spur is barely formed on the foot, and the neck is meaty.
