Another way to transport live fish

Cover the gills of a live and, of course, a large fish with white bread moistened with rum or spirits. Wrap the fish in a bast mat and, in that manner, it may be transported for 2 days or even longer. After arriving, remove the white bread, and drop the fish into a large washtub or bath with water.
