I love a kick to my food but to keep my recipes kid-friendly I never use more than a mild curry powder or paste. Instead I have an array of chilli sauces that I use to spice up dishes. A lemon or herb chilli sauce is great for chicken or fish. A BBQ chilli sauce adds a lovely deep smoky flavour to tomato-based recipes like bolognese or chilli. And a classic hot sauce can be used on pretty much everything and anything!
