Beer

It is hardly surprising that beer is extremely popular in the north-east of Italy, given its close geographical and historical links with Austria. Beer is drunk with food and is as also used an ingredient in many dishes throughout the north-east, especially in the cuisine of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
