This earthenware cooking pot is traditionally used to make tabletop stews, such as Sukiyaki and Chankonabe. If you have one, you can cook these dishes on your stove top and serve them at the table directly from the attractive clay pot (placed on a trivet, of course, to protect your tabletop). An enameled cast-iron pot, such as one from Le Creuset, will do as well.
