  • About
Red rice is a medium-grain rice with a soft, nutty texture and a distinctive earthy flavour. It has been grown in Bhutan for thousands of years, without the use of chemicals and pesticides, and irrigated with mineral-rich glacial waters. It has a shorter cooking time than brown rice, of only about 20 minutes. You’ll find red rice in health food stores.
