Zakouski

Russian for appetizers—a collection of hot and cold canapés that can include pickled mushrooms, radishes in sour cream, salted and pickled herring and stuffed peppers. The most famous zakouski are blini (buckwheat pancakes served with melted butter, sour cream and caviar).
