Almond Paste Decorations

To make decorative shapes with almond paste, knead a small amount of paste until it is soft and pliable. Then roll or mold it with your hands to form shapes. For detailed work special tools can be used. To color the paste sprinkle a few drops of coloring on to it and knead until the paste is evenly coated. Alternatively, paint the shapes with a brush when finished.
