Deeper than a ring mold, with a narrower center, a kugelhopf pan has fluted sides and is traditionally made of earthenware. An angel food cake pan has feet attached to the top to raise the pan from the table when it is inverted to cool the cake. A bundt pan has broad fluting and a wide center tube. It is used for traditional pound cake.
