  • About
Fresh, seasonal asparagus is a real treat as it has such a short growing season, but it is imported and available all year round. Frozen asparagus is great for soups and sauces, but no good to eat on its own. Tinned is almost like a different vegetable as the flavour is completely different, but it has its place and I use it in my asparagus broth.

Where to buy Fresh from greengrocers or supermarkets (check origins). Tinned and frozen from supermarkets.

How to store Fresh in the fridge for 3–4 days, frozen in the freezer and tinned in the cupboard.
