Salt and pepper grinders

I have spent a fortune over the years in search of the perfect pepper grinder and I’ve discovered an important fact on my journey through the world of pepper grinding – the inner grinding mechanism should be ceramic (it is sharp and does not blunt). Buy one also where you can alter the size of the grind as sometimes you want to see the pepper on or in the food. The same rules apply to salt grinders, but as salt is finer than a whole peppercorn you need to make sure it is for salt or it can simply drop out of the bottom without being ground!
