  • About

Mandioquinha, also known as batata baroa in Brazil and virraca in Peru, is close to the potato family originally from the Andes. With a delicate flavour and natural sweetness, mandioquinha is extensively used in South American home cooking, and makes a great accompaniment to hearty meat dishes such as salt beef, its classic partner in Brazil.
