  • About

This is made from roasted, peeled and ground soy beans. It has a natural roasted flavour. The colour varies depending the kind of soy beans used. Yellow kinako is made from common soy beans, green kinako is made from green soy beans and black kinako is made from black soy beans. Soy bean powder is rich in fibre and minerals. It is common practice in Japan to mix soy bean powder into milk for a healthy drink! It is often used in Japanese sweets but kinako ice cream and butter are readily available nowadays.
