Dried Greek Oregano is sold in delicatessens as whole stems with leaves and flower heads attached and is similar to the wild oregano that grows in Sardinia. To use it, crumble it between the palms of your hands and discard the stems. If it’s unavailable, use regular dried oregano, but the aroma and flavour won’t be as strong.
