Chives

Related to the onion and leek family. Chives are a long, thin, deep green herb with hollow stems and a mild onion flavour. Slice thinly rather than chop, which will cause bruising. Garlic chives are a wild herb with a deeper colour and strong garlic flavour and usually can be found in Asian supermarkets.
