  • About
Native to central Asia and northeastern Iran, garlic is now used worldwide for culinary, medicinal, and even religious applications. It is in the same plant family as onions and is incredibly easy to grow in the home garden. One of the challenges I have is sourcing good-quality garlic at the grocery store. Most of what’s available has been transported thousands of miles and grown in conditions that are dubious at best. Locally grown or homegrown garlic is far superior to store-bought on so many levels—I guarantee that you will taste the difference.
