This delicious liquid takes about 10 minutes to make. This recipe produces about 1 cup, which may be stored in a tight jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
  • 1 cup finely ground almonds
  • 1½ cups boiling water
In a food processor, blend the almonds and water for 5 minutes, until creamy. Strain the mixture through 2 layers of cheesecloth into a bowl. Reserve the strained liquid and discard the solids.
