Mushrooms, Dried

Dried mushrooms, popular in south Asian cuisine, are also known as wood-ear, cloud-ear and tree-ear mushrooms. They are not very tasty but wonderfully crunchy. Buy the small black variety and make sure you rinse them well as they can be gritty.
