  • About

In Iran fresh pomegranate juice is a popular drink, like orange juice, and is sold by juice vendors on street corners. In the West this juice is sold in health food stores and Persian groceries. Or you can make your own, allowing 2 large pomegranates for 1 cup of juice: Seed the pomegranates (see โ€œPomegranate, How to Seed), purรฉe the seeds in a food processor and strain the puree through a fine sieve. The juice will vary in sourness depending on the fruit; add sugar or lime juice to balance the taste to your liking.
