Sometimes called a mouli or mouli-légumes, this is for puréeing vegetables and soups. Food mills can be bought from most good kitchen shops and come with three discs - fine, medium and coarse - so you can choose the texture you prefer or that is appropriate for the dish you are making. Food mills are also good for making mashed potato and fruit fools.
