Tomato Purée

Boosts the flavour of any tomatoey soup, stew, sauce, etc., and can be added to a white sauce and marinades for flavour. Unless you want to use a large quantity all at once, buy in a tube, rather than a can, so that it can be resealed. Once opened, keep the tube in the refrigerator.
