Callet, mallorcan grape of unclear origin often planted as a field blend with Fogoneu Mallorqué or Fogoneu Francés, although Spanish statistics of 2008 recorded a total 134 ha/ 331 acres planted. Callet tends to produce small quantities of light-coloured wine with relatively little alcohol. Used mainly for rosés and in red blends.
