  • About

The dominant wine producer in Latin America was founded in Pirque, chile, in 1883 by Don Melchor Concha y Toro, a prominent businessman and politician. Its 2014 total of 10,750 ha/26,564 acres made it one of the world’s leading vineyard owners. Since the mid 20th century efforts have been focused on modernization and developing export markets.

The Casillero del Diablo (‘the Devil’s Cellar’) brand is one of the world’s most successful with global sales of over 3.8 million cases annually (1.3 million of which are in the UK).
