  • About

Mechanical corkscrews, are designed to reduce the amount of physical effort required during the three manœuvres of piercing, pulling, and disposing of the cork. Mechanical hand-held corkscrews can never be used with the rapidity of an efficient wall- or bar-mounted mechanical instrument, although the modern hand-held Lever Pull, really a miniature bar-screw in concept, can be used at remarkable speed.
