Doña Blanca, also known as Valenciana, and Moza Fresca, variety grown in north west Spain, particularly in Monterrei, Bierzo, and to a much lesser extent Valdeorras, where it is known as Valenciana. dna profiling has shown that it is identical to the Portuguese variety síria. In 2011 there were 579 ha/1,430 acres left in Spain.
