Garnacha Blanca is the light-berried grenache blanc of which in 2011 there were about 2,200 ha/5,434 acres in Spain, where it plays a role in full-bodied, north eastern whites such as those of Alella, Priorato, Tarragona, Rioja, and Navarra. terra alta claims one-third of world production of the variety, from particularly old vines.
