Gouveio Real, minor pale-skinned vine variety of which 587 ha/1,449 acres remained in northern Portugal in 2012, mainly in the Douro where it makes full-bodied whites. It is distinct from Gouveio, a Portuguese synonym for the godello of north west Spain.
