Gran Negro or Grão Negro, local name for grand noir de la calmette in Galicia, in particularly Valdeorras, where there were still 568 ha/1,402 acres in 2011. It was introduced here after the phylloxera invasion. As Grão Negro it is also grown in southern Portugal.
