  • About

Limnio, dark grape variety native to the island of Límnos in greece, where it can still be found. It has also transferred successfully to Khalkhidhikhi in north east Greece, however, where, sometimes blended with Cabernet, it produces a full-bodied wine with a good level of acidity and some herbal aromas. Limniona resurrected from mainland Greece is unrelated according to dna profiling.
