Macro-Oxygenation

macro-oxygenation, an umbrella term for the deliberate exposure of wine to oxygen that contrasts with the very specific technique of micro-oxygenation. See aeration, pumping over, délestage, racking, barrel fermentation, and barrel maturation. See also micro-oxygenation and total package oxygen.
