  • About

molybdenum, trace element important for plant growth but not previously considered necessary for grapevines, although a deficiency may contribute to poor fruit set. Recent research in Australia suggests that foliar molybdenum sprays can overcome a vegetative growth disorder and berry development disorders of Merlot. More research is required.
