German for muscat, almost invariably the superior muscat blanc, or some mutation of it. Gelber Muskateller for example, is the gold-skinned version which is increasingly recognized as superior to muscat ottonel in Austria, where it is particularly popular in styria. In Germany, homeland of morio-muskat, Gelber Muskateller is a distinctly minority interest, and there is even less of the red-skinned Roter Muskateller.
