  • About

nursery budding and nursery grafting, methods for the propagation of grafted vines that complement bench grafting, used in warm climates where the work can be done in the field. Great flexibility is possible in the type of scion wood used and in the timing of grafting. Inserted scions are tied tightly with budding tape and, after the inserted bud has started to grow, the rootstock foliage is shortened back and later removed.
