Nutrients

All living things, including vines and yeasts, need nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, along with carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and other minerals as nutrients. Lack of nutrients in must can lead to stuck fermentation. For more details of nutrition of the vine, see vine nutrition.
