  • About

blind tasting game which in practice allows novice tasters almost as great a chance of winning as professionals. Developed by Australian Len evans, it requires an informed quiz-master who presents players with a series of increasingly precise options for the identity of the wine. A typical series of options might be: ‘Australia, California, or Bordeaux?’, ‘left or right bank?’, ‘St-Estèphe, Pauillac, St-Julien, or Margaux?’, ‘20th or 21st century?’, ‘first or fifth growth?’, ‘Latour, Lafite, or Mouton?’. Players remain in the game only by choosing the correct successive options.
