Osey, variously spelt Oseye and Osaye, fortified wine from portugal drunk in England in the 15th century, thought likely to have originated from vineyards near Lisbon, the name being an English corruption of the locality of Azóia northwest of Lisbon. See also carcavelos and setúbal.
