Rabo de Ovelha, white grape variety grown in Portugal, particularly the Alentejo, taking its name from the ‘ewe’s tail’ shape of its bunches. Noted more for alcohol than subtlety and probably closely related to cayetana. Total plantings had fallen to 1,120 ha/2,766 acres by 2012.
