Rotbrenner, vine fungal disease found in most of Europe which can cause severe crop losses. Caused by the fungus Pseudopezicula tracheiphila, the disease is encouraged by prolonged rainfall and attacks leaves and young bunches. It can be controlled by fungicides applied early in the growing season.
