  • About

San Marino, tiny republic within Italy between the regions of emilia-romagna and the marche. Its elusive wines, from 200 ha/500 acres of vineyards, are based on sangiovese for its red, and pignoletto (here called, confusingly, Ribolla di San Marino), Biancame, and Cargarello for its whites.
