Vine Foliage Lifter

vine foliage lifter, machine which lifts vine foliage in the growing season. Once the foliage is vertical it can be secured by wires and is then well placed for trimming to maintain a constant canopy outline. This is a particular aid to canopy management. See also shoot positioning.
