  • About

yield monitors, sensors fitted to mechanical grape harvesters which assess and record the amount of fruit being harvested in real time. When used in conjunction with a differential global positioning system, they allow maps of yield to be produced. Such maps are a tool in the implementation of precision viticulture and zonal viticulture. See also remote sensing.
