Wood-fired Oven Cookbook

  • About
A laser thermometer is the best way of taking the temperatures inside and outside the oven. Hold it outside the oven and direct the laser to the spot where you want to establish the temperature. You can see the different temperatures around the inside of the oven very quickly, so you can move a dish around to a cooler or hotter spot as needed.

A laser thermometer is very useful as it will read the temperature of all the different parts of the oven.

Make sure you have a pair of thick, flame-retardant gauntlets that will protect your arms as well as your hands.
